‘PRINCE2’, also known as PRojects IN Controlled Environments 2, is the world’s most popular project management methodology. It breaks projects down into controlled stages, each with a list of tasks and products. This gives managers the space to review individual projects and targets as they go.

As a generic framework, PRINCE2 can be applied to virtually any project regardless of industry sector, or size. Despite focusing largely on traditional project management, PRINCE2 is also quite flexible, and has even been combined with Agile ways of working to create ‘PRINCE2 Agile’.
