If you ask any experienced enterprise architect they will tell you that a good meta model is essential to almost everything that they do. But there is a very important word that in that sentence… It was the word “good”; what architects need is a “good” EA meta model.
This article takes a look at the TOGAF meta model to find out whether it is a “good” generic model or not. In the next article I’ll give some examples of how to customise the TOGAF meta model.
